The former President of Microsoft Spain, with more than 30 years in the technology sector and roles as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer across EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America, will lead the company's entry into new markets and its strategic partnerships

We welcome Alberto Granados, Non-Executive Chairman for Growth and Expansion, to HappyRobot.

Alberto brings more than 30 years in the technology sector, most of them at Microsoft. He was President of Microsoft Spain from 2021 to 2025 and, most recently, Vice President on the EMEA leadership team. Before that, he held Vice President and Chief Operating Officer roles in Asia Pacific and Latin America, and led the adoption of artificial intelligence inside large organizations from the front line. He is also Chairman of Forética and of the Spanish Business Council for Sustainable Development, where he works with Spanish companies on sustainable innovation and ESG criteria.

At HappyRobot, Alberto will identify opportunities in new markets and strategic partnerships that accelerate our growth in Spain and internationally. He will oversee the execution of our expansion plans and support our relationships with major customers and partners.

"I have spent the last thirty years watching technology, responsible AI and sustainable innovation transform organizations, improve their competitiveness and accelerate their growth. HappyRobot goes a step further: its AI agents execute complete processes, in production and at scale, and the result shows up where it matters most, in the P&L: lower cost per operation, more revenue per customer and teams freed up for the work only people can do. It is a privilege to join HappyRobot to contribute to its global expansion and help build strategic partnerships with the world's largest companies," said Alberto Granados.
"We are proud to have Alberto Granados' experience and leadership at HappyRobot. His vision of artificial intelligence is closely aligned with ours, Enterprise Superintelligence: agents execute all of a company's transactional work, and people focus on strategy and creativity," said Pablo Palafox, CEO and co-founder of HappyRobot.
"Bringing Alberto on board is one of the most important decisions we have made this year. Leading his appointment has been a personal priority, because his experience at the intersection of AI, corporate governance and Spain's largest companies is exactly what HappyRobot needs as we continue to grow," added Quili Peña, Head of Strategy and Operations at HappyRobot.

HappyRobot is entering a new stage as large enterprises deploy AI agents in their business-critical processes. Over the past year we have expanded to eight offices across North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia, reflecting demand from organizations looking to automate complex operational workflows. Bringing Alberto on board is a continued investment in the leadership this stage demands.

Welcome, Alberto.
